The 21st National Family Law Conference takes place across three days in Hobart (Nipaluna) from 20 October 2026, at the Hotel Grand Chancellor’s Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The theme of the 21st National Family Law Conference is Landscapes of Thought.

Through a powerful marriage of nature and innovation, we aim to foster an environment that encourages bold conversations, fresh perspectives, and groundbreaking ideas, all set against the backdrop of Tasmania’s awe-inspiring landscapes — a reminder that true discovery begins where the known ends — both in nature and in ideas.

Did you know Hobart is home to some of the cleanest air and water thanks to the “roaring forties” strong westerly winds that carry clean air from across the Southern Ocean to Tasmania?

What better way to enjoy that fresh air by taking a few days either side of the conference to explore Hobart and our great island State including:
